Did this for my painting class in College.

I used watercolors and ink on scrap printing paper.

In the game Kuon you could come back to life in a wicker basket but it turned you into a moth. I thought that was a really sweet concept and the lady is based of the character model of Kureha who was the possessed sister of Utsuki.

One of my sister's and my favorite horror games. Beautiful music and character designs from the Heian period. Kureha kinda pissed me off though. Sakuya was my uber fave. xD

But enough rambling from me. This is looks absolutely beautiful. :heart:

This is positively beautiful. I love the Kuon game it's positvely one of the most beautiful games I've ever played and to see a fanart do it such creepy justice. I'm impressed.

I really love Kureha. She was so creepy especially out near the river where she stood there waiting for you after you came through the gate after waking up.

I like Sakuya too and how at the end she comes out with little Utsuki. Their dad was an asshole though. I always hated him.

Not enough people talk about Kuon so I'm glad to discuss!
